‘Sitara’ is a deeply personal creation by singer and songwriter Rupinn Pahwa. He has sung, written and composed the song. Rupinn is best known for writing the popular song ‘Tareefan’ from the Bollywood film ‘Veere Di Wedding’. He is also a trained theatre actor from Delhi who essayed the lead role of Sahil Mittal in Nivedita Basu’s TV daily soap ‘Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi’ and India’s Biggest Broadway Bollywood musical called ‘Balle Balle’ produced by Wizcraft International. Rupinn is an MBA in Marketing, a former Google employee who has also written, sang and composed Soneya, Koi Nahi – two hit songs with Vyrl Originals, a non-film label under the Universal Music India umbrella.
