The Artist – Outsky
‘Outsky’ is the artist alias of singer, songwriter and composer Aditya Mishra. Aditya is currently based in Mumbai and has been an independent artist since 2018 and has worked on over 500 projects since then. Born and raised in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Outsky discovered his love for music at a young age and has been pursuing it ever since.
Aditya has been working with Hoopr since 2023, its inception being the Retro Reimagined contest that Hoopr and Universal Music India hosted. Outsky even was the winner of the contest, having created the best reimagination of the iconic Bollywood hit. Since then, the association between the artist and Hoopr has blossomed into a lot of amazing music.
The Song and its Story
The vocals, lyrics and composition of the song comes from the man himself, Outsky, while the production is done by Devashish Korani, a seasoned music producer from Mumbai. According to Aditya himself, “The song is about that feeling you get when you meet someone and feel the vibe immediately”. He said, “I sort of wanted it to sound a little like The Weeknd’s stuff while also recalling what I felt when I met my current girlfriend”. Vibin’s amazingly hummable melody and groovy beats is what makes it the banger that it is.
